What you get

Everything your team needs to keep working

One plan covers the day-to-day IT and the security behind it. You get one named point of contact who knows your setup.

Help desk

Your staff get help when something breaks, from people who know your systems. Problems that keep coming back get fixed at the root.

Devices and accounts

New laptops set up before day one. Accounts added when someone starts and shut off when they leave, so nobody keeps access they shouldn't.

Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace

Licenses, email, file sharing and security settings managed for you, with multi-factor sign-in for everyone.

Patching and backups

Operating system and app updates on a schedule. Backups monitored and restore-tested, so you know they work before you need them.

Network and Wi-Fi

Firewalls, switches and Wi-Fi set up properly, documented and kept patched. Guest Wi-Fi kept away from your business systems.

Vendors

We deal with your internet provider, printer company and software vendors, so you don't spend your afternoon on hold.

How it starts

We test first, then we take over

  1. 01

    Baseline

An external pentest and a Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace review show where you stand today.

  2. 02

    Onboard

We document your systems, take over admin access from your old provider and set up monitoring.

  3. 03

    Fix

The biggest risks from the Baseline get closed first, and every change is written down.

  4. 04

    Run

Help desk, updates, backups and monitoring every month, with a retest every quarter.

Pricing

How IT support is priced in Portland

Most Portland managed IT providers charge per user per month. We do too: one flat rate per user on a 12-month term, plus a one-time onboarding fee to document and clean up what we inherit.

The price depends on how many people and devices you have, how many locations, and whether you need compliance work like HIPAA or CMMC. We quote it after a short call, and you get the number in writing before you sign anything.

The Security Baseline is a fixed price on its own, and it's credited to your plan if you sign within 30 days.

Switching providers

Changing IT companies without the mess

Most new clients already have an IT provider or an in-house person. We plan the handoff so nothing goes dark: we collect admin access, licenses and vendor contacts, document your network and confirm your backups before the old provider steps away.

If you have an in-house IT person, we can work alongside them instead. They keep the day-to-day, and we take security and testing and compliance.

FAQ

Questions we get asked

Don't see yours? Email hello@portlandsecureit.com and you'll get a straight answer.

What's included in managed IT support?

Help desk for your staff, device and account management, Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace administration, patching, backups, network management, email security and endpoint protection with 24/7 monitoring. Every plan starts with a Security Baseline.

How much does IT support cost for a small business in Portland?

It's priced per user per month on a 12-month term, plus a one-time onboarding fee. We quote it after a short call, once we know your users, devices and locations.

Do you come onsite?

Yes, across the Portland metro when something needs hands, like a network install or an office move. Most help desk work is done remotely, which is usually faster for you.

Can you take over from our current IT company?

Yes. We plan the handoff, collect access and documentation, and confirm backups before anything changes. Your team keeps working through it.

Do we have to sign a long contract?

Monthly plans run on a 12-month term. The Security Baseline is a one-time project with no commitment after it.
